<DIV>Recently we were contacted by Todd Carlton, Stage Manager of
All-Con (Sci-Fi / Costume Festival) to have a table and do panel
discussions at their conference in Addison March 7,8,9 (Fri-Sun)</DIV>

<DIV>Your club officers cooked up a plan where we would offer unmanned /
semi-manned table with DVD loop of robots / contests / what we do and do 2
panel discussions (we should have schedule in a day).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This falls on 2nd Saturday so we will cancel the monthly meeting and round
up as many as 10 people who would be willing to spend some time attending a
table (e.g. doing robot demos...) Beyond that number entrance fee is
$15. </DIV>

<DIV>Since we have many members with interests in sci-fi, might be good

<DIV>2008 is our forth annual event at All-Con. We're a <BR>community
participation convention with a myriad of participants ranging<BR>from the
denizens of the Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival to<BR>Assassination City
Women's Roller Derby League. The Star Wars stormtrooper
costuming<BR>group is having their annual meeting here as is the
Battlestar Galactica fan group.</DIV>
<DIV>Cartoon watching, costume wearing, Anime fans are in no shortage.
Pretty much it's a<BR>free-for-all of interests.</DIV>
