<DIV>I've got a IR LED Modulator that Dale built and some tuned sensors. Maybe
we can play with detecting beacon(s) on cones for upcoming spring
conetest.</DIV>

<DIV>It appears the I must have wired up a receiver to filter pulse output from
sensors using simple RC circuits for use with analog input on microcontroller.
We should be able to hook it up to a scope and see what is going on.</DIV>

<DIV>I have some extra sensors and LEDs. Should have some Tiny13s laying around
somewhere.</DIV>
<DIV>Not sure if crystals would be needed. I see Dale put one on his modulator
which uses a tiny11. Was thinking could at least get a donkey to synthesize
a variable frequency pulse for LEDs (I know a 555 could do the same thing
-- but where is the fun in that?)</DIV>

<DIV>The deal with using a microcontroller is to possible blink out unique
sequence for each cone.</DIV>

<DIV>I do also have some Sharp IR Distance sensors we could play with --
maybe that would be better way for folks to go.</DIV>
