<DIV>Very Nice Dave,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have used the same circuit to keep a video transmitter happy that was
powered from my motor supply in first TIP robot -- might have been like a 2200
uF cap or whatever was a fairly frisky cap.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I had a separate 5 volt supply on that robot for MCU, but the 12 volts I
needed for video transmitter for X-10 style camera did not have such a filter on
board or a regulator providing a much lower voltage like 5 volts that would have
probably tolerated voltage drop from starting and stopping or
balancing as it was. </DIV>
