I jut bought an ElectriFly Triton 2 battery charger. It will charge
LiPo/Ion, Lead-Acid, NiCd and NiMH batteries.
It has an LCD that shows the pack's voltage, how long it's been charging,
and even the actual charge that the battery has taken.
It can perform charge/discharge cycles, and has an (optional) temperature
probe that will shut down the charger if the batteries get too hot. It even
does a "battery test" before it starts charging, to let you know if there's
a problem. I've used one of these at work for years and I'm sure I'm not
aware of all of its features.
I bought mine from Tower Hobbies online, and payed about $130.00 for it.
While very expensive, it might be worth it if you have lots of hobbies that
use specialized rechargeable batteries.
