Steve,

I wanted to respond to your email as well.  I also think the FIRST
competition stuff is a very worthy endeavor.  We discussed the
possibility of attending/volunteering at it for a lengthy discussion,
but
came back to the idea that we had already been in communication with
the convention, and had
attended their show previously, and were looking to expand our
presence at the convention.  Its just
unfortunate both are being held at the same time.

Ideally, in a couple of years it would be awesome to have the DRPG
sponsor / tutor / coach a FIRST
team from one of the local Dallas or Garland schools.

As for ankle biter, I would love to have it come again, but was
wondering if you had any spare
mecanum wheels yet or not.  Perhaps the club could build a smaller
less powerful ankle biter
that could exhibit the same freedom of motion the wheel design provides.
