Howdy,
Great DPRG robot event this weekend! Congratulations to all involved,
especially Ron and Ed for providing the_much_needed shade and water and
our videographers Ed and Scott and everyone with a camera. We'll get
pictures up as soon as we can. And special congratulations to everyone
that built and entered a robot and especially those recipients of the
coveted DPRG "WINNER" Gold Medals.
Eleven robots competed in three of the four outdoor challenges. Eric will
report on the indoor events. Here are the outdoor winners:

jBot was on hand to give a couple of demos of navigation and obstacle
avoidance and I together with some kids got to chase it around the
parking lot for the general entertainment of the folks in attendance.
You can tell by the scores above that we are well on our way to a fleet
of outdoor hobby robots! An impressive showing by all concerned.
