My personal opinion is that we should have an assortment of working
Club Robots because there are a lot of times we are asked to do
something "and bring some robots". A lot of times this is hard to do
spur of the moment, because people are working on their robot and while
it may worked last week, it is in pieces being modified this week. Also
some people have a lot of time and money invested in their robot, and
they (rightly so) don't want other people taking it somewhere it may get
accidentally damaged, especially when they are not around.
Working Club Robots are good for demonstrations and educational events.
