Unfortunately I must be the bearer of bad news. Disney has canceled
the appearance of Wall-E at the Nature & Science museum originally
scheduled for June 11th. A reschedule is potentially pending but
there is no word as of yet. On behalf of the museum we do thank you
for all of your efforts to adjust your schedules and willingness to
get robots to the event. The museum has expressed significant
interest in having us be a part of promotions specifically for summer
robotics camps and the like so future events that do not rely on
outside resources are certainly still a possibility.
Once again we do apologize for the last minute cancellation and the
impact that it has on all of your schedules and plans. I will be
posting on the DPRG list later but I wanted to send this directly
first as you all had previously confirmed with me.
