Might be worth a try.
Like slap a big cap across your remote relay board supply to ground?
Would be interesting to see how your grounds are connected/ how beefy.
Be afraid of breadboards -- high resistance connections possible.
tapping different places for a ground might yield different voltages due to
simple application of ohms law.
Of course might look tame until things switch on/off.
Your processor ground should tap close to regulator and not downstream on a
high resistance ground bus.
Scope should be helpful in seeing what is going on.
Wondering too about signal lines running from processor to 293s
Might want to shield them?
