Ron,
I would suggest going down to Walmart and buying the cheap $3 "high
temp" hot glue gun and a package of appropriate glue sticks. You can
glue just about anything together with high temp hot glue, and better
yet, you can get it back apart without destroying everything.
The Walmart gun is cheap and cruddy, but did I mention it costs $3?
:) It gets the job done, and the "high temp" version will glue metal
sufficiently well. You can move to epoxy when you want things to
never come apart again.
