Duane,

I don't know if there will be a swap meet but I seriously doubt it.  But on
the bright side you may want to come early on the show day to go to Tanner
Electronics http://www.tannerelectronics.com/ which is the best place in DFW
to get the various parts that are needed to build robots.  They sell a lot
of surplus so their stock changes often.  If you are looking for something
specific you could call them in advance.  Note the store hours on their
website, i.e. the contest may not end in time to make it there afterwards.

Hello,

I've been lurking on the list for quite some time now.  I've finally got 
some time to start building/learning robots.  A friend and I will be 
coming up on the 17th to observe the Robomania.  We won't be competing 
this time, but plan to in the future.  We'd like to know if there will 
be a 'Swap meet' area for buying and selling robot parts? 

We'll be coming up from Austin.
