Hello,
I was just in the Dallas Fry's and saw the TDS 1012B priced
at $599. The price was on a red colored card stuck to the
shelf. It did not indicate "display model only" or "open box".
There was at least one NIB 1012B in the locked cabinet. No, I
did not inquire of a sales associate if the price is accurate.
But I believe it is.
The Tektronix TDS 1012B is a 100 MHz DSO with 1 GS/s sampling
rate. It has two channels and a monochrome display. The "B" in
the model means that it has USB host/device support from an
external port.
I'm not in the market for a scope now but if Iwere, I would
strongly consider this one.
