The finish line will be either Ron's metal yardstick (if he remembers
to bring it) or a wooden one. The most prominent feature of this line
is that it is raised off of the floor by ~1/8 of an inch (or more).
If you want to provide your own finish line (of arbitrary
construction), that will be fine too.
Also, the finish line will be stationary, and ~10 feet away from the
start. As you can start anywhere behind the start line (or a little
bit in front, if there are no rules lawyers present), timing or
distance measuring should also suffice.
Like last time, you can keep trying until the crowd gets restless, so
you'll have the chance to adjust for how your robot does on the floor
at the meeting.
