Yes, I'm afraid I'm often guilty of writing code to make
movements on where my joints are supposed to be, or where I want
them to be, rather than according to where they actually are.
We're almost all running open loop, with RC Servos, and the
like, where we set a speed or position, and act like nothing in
the world can stop our parts from being there.
Without access to feedback from every control loop, you just
don't have that kind of insight.
