Re: [DPRG] PWM device/circuit?Hi Bill

I have used both the BS2 and the BasicX chips. The BasicX has a superior interface (in my opinion). I had one robot that took 4 basic stamps to work. My second revision used just one BasicX with "more" functionality.

Go to basicx.com and click downloads. Get the "programming environment"

Having loads more ram and code space is awesome. Having an ADC is almost a must. Floating point support makes the math a whole lot easier when you need it.

Cheers
Keith

  Keith;

  Thanks for the reply and suggestion:

  That's where the BasicX becomes a star. It does everything a stamp can do
  for the same price but it has the added bonus of ADC and 2 x real PWM

  Check out the comparison.

  Rather then make lots of fudgy circuits to patch your PWM it would be easier
  to change the stamp to a basicX, You will likely run out of program space
  and ram later anyway.

  One of the things I like about the Parallax line is the editor/compiler. It is a very smooth interface. Could you poiint me to the place where I could try out the editor/compiler for thte BasicX?

  Many thanks in advance;;

  Bill
