Tracy, I don't know too much about such stuff, but I will ask some  questions:
Is your magneto sheilded (enclosed in metal box attached to engine  block)?
Are you using RF suppressive spark plug wire(s)?
Do you have a good common ground from engine block to radio ground?
Are you sure you have good connections from wires to plugs and from magneto  
to wire(s)?
 
Any spark not shielded will generate broadband RF covering a wide range of  
frequencies.
I learned this building a tesla coil years ago.
