The next regular meeting of the DPRG will be at noon on Saturday,
February 10. There will be several short technical presentations on
various techniques for designing and fabricating a chassis and drive
train for your robot.
Following the technical presentations, there will be a new contest.
To enter the contest, your robot must be able to move under its own
power. The course will consist of start and finish lines and a target
mark on the finish line. Robots must start completely behind the
start line and cross the finish line under their own power to be
eligible for a prize. Rankings will be determined by the distance of
closest approach of the center of the robot and the target point. The
course will be flat, with the start and finish lines up to 1/8 of an
inch thick on top of the floor. The course will be approximately ten
feet long
