I go to Jameco quite often, as they're only 30 minutes north of me :-) We
use them quite a bit for projects and other stuff here in SF. They can also
be pricey, though.
For hard to find stuff, like the high voltage resistors I'm ordering,
Digikey is my best option.
Allied Electronics has a big distribution center near Randol Mill and 820,
in Ft. Worth, and I used to go there to pick up parts. Just call ahead and
they'll have stuff ready and waiting for you.
