Thanks for the Jameco discount code! As luck would have it, I started
writing up a Jameco order yesterday.
It's kind of maddening - I normally use Digikey at work, but their prices
are pretty high, especially for things like connectors, switches, and
headers. I like Jameco, but have found that they don't have as broad a
selection.
I also like All Electronics, but they have a limited selection, and the
quality of some connectors that I bought there were disappointing.
I'm in the planning stages of producing a small, general-purpose robot
board, and one of my design goals is to have all the parts available from
one source.
Can we take a vote? What's your favorite mail order parts supplier? How
important is price?
