[DPRG] Meeting Reminder

Subject: [DPRG] Meeting Reminder

This Saturday, at the museum formerly called "The Science Place," the
DPRG will hold its February meeting. Brief presentations about
various chassis construction methods will be given by Ron Grant,
Steven Rainwater, and Will Kuhnle. After the presentations, there
will be a mini-contest. The rules can be found in the mailing list
archives at <http://list.dprg.org/archive/2007-January/030254.html>.
There are several last minute clarifications/changes to the rules, if
any of these are a problem, let me know:

  * A robot will be considered to have crossed the finish line if any
part of the robot passes over or contacts the finish line.
  * The start line will not be a physical entity, and should thus not
provide any impediment to any robot.
  * At the discretion of the judge (me) the length of the course may
be changed to better match the scale of the robot that is running
  * Rank is determined by the distance between the target position,
and where the center of the robot first crosses the finish line.
