[DPRG] Bio inspired robotic feet

This is what I'm working on right now. Full is an excellent speaker.
Since that talk, another robot (Stickybot) was developed that can
climb glass with dry adhesives. It made some minor news last year.
RiSE, the main climbing robot, is moving along nicely and we're
currently doing some tree-climbing experiments. Last year it made a
4-story untethered climb up a building in San Antonio. There's more
info on this stuff at

The collaboration between the biologists and engineers is proving very
fruitful. Who knows, maybe some of this stuff will be available as
toys one day. Have you seen the Flytech Dragonfly?
