Hey James,
I guess if you wanted to be extra careful, you could connect a small series
resistance inline(330-1K) just in case you accidentally drive your ADC input
pins -- OR at least make sure they are acting as inputs and maybe even
digitizing values.
Ahh, maybe that is being too cautious.
John Drummond made fun of me for fusing my power supplies.
You know at one time John built robots. Not sure if that was before or after
the invention of the transistor.
