Nearly walked out of a store with the E-flight Blade a few weeks ago - would
like to build a ground based controller utilizing a pivot/tilt camera mount
to track the training skid balls and maybe audio input for RPM feedback.
This way the RC model itself doesn't need to be modified. But I was told
the battery life was quite short and that the model doesn't have much lift
capacity for an upgraded battery. Maybe cycling multiple battery packs or
removing the body shell for more lift capacity would provide more
development flight time.
