LM78S05 - 5V @ 2A, TO220 package, add a medium-sized heatsink.  If you're 
drawing 100mA, for example, the poor little regulator has to dissipate 1.3W 
(13V*0.1A).  Draw half an amp and you might need a fan  :)

A better (more efficient) solution would be a buck-converter switching regulator.
