A friend just clued me in to these new sonar sensors:

Don't know if anyone else in the club has seen or used them, but the specs
look impressive, and so does the price.  

I emailed the owner, Bob Gross, mentioned that I was a member of DPRG and
asked about quantity discounts, and he offered me a price of $xx.xx each
(plus shipping) for quantity 5 or more.   They read from 0-254 inches
(that's right, they'll detect an object right up against the sensor,
although it will read as if its 6" away), have what looks like a nice narrow
beam, and output the reading in RS232, pulse-width, and analog.

I'll probably order a half-dozen or so myself, but I was wondering if anyone
else would like some of these, too.   If so, I'll add them to my order.  The
more we order, the more we save on shipping.

Anyone interested?
