I've never used the endzone lines on any of the machines I've
competed with (unless you count minisumo ring edge).
Frankly, that doesn't mean I don't endorse the idea of detecting
end lines. I've often thought I could be more secure in my
movements by detecting them, but just haven't. Also this puts a
sort of balancing limit on top speed, because the faster you go,
the more likely you are to miss a line.
