Nice to know, glad you shared that, but unnecessary. You were
not the muslim student I was refering to. I assumed your name
was Mohammed El-Abid which sounded like someone in your family
was of middle eastern origin or the muslim religion (Islam), or
that someone, even you, might have converted. I was curious, but
it really didn't matter. The more well spoken, or written in
this medium, the better you will be received.

The native texans I refered to, were the ones who threw food,
although there I am being prejudice because I'm just guessing
from what you said that's what they were. I am not a native
texan.

You know, there are a number of guys who are mistaken for Hell's
Angel's members who are actually doctors and dentists and the
like? Do you know why? Because that's what they want you to do.
They dress that way on weekends so they aren't mistaken for what
they really are. Go figure.

Again, prejudice is the easy way. Prejudice reads the most
obvious clues, and let them stand as truth. Recognizing that,
you can actually choose the clues you want to give off, by
making them the most obvious, and direct peoples' impressions in
the direction you want (almost like the Jedi mind tricks). Some
things you don't have control over, but you would be amazed how
much you do have in your control.

For instance, when I met my wife, she thought I was the apps
engineer for a company. I was in Tandy with the company
salesman, a real slick looking fellow in a suit. I was wearing a
green military service flight jacket, dress shirt, cheap slacks
and slip-on tennis shoes. It wasn't until our second date she
found out I was the guy who owned the company that owned the
company the salesman worked for.

Well, this is fun talking with you, but suppose we'd better
getting back to robotics, which might be more interesting to the
others on the list? Chewing up that much school work, how do you
have time to do robotics? What are you working on now?
