I'd like to measure power being used in the house on a per-circuit basis.
I've looked at various split core transformers and the smallest seem to go
down to 1amp but I'd like 0 - 15amp range. The current plan is to put 5
turns of #30 Kynar wire on to the hot lead and use a high instrumentation
amplifier like the one shown here:

I was wondering if anyone else had started on this road and knew of
specific pot holes to avoid.
