Matt,
Some of those surplus window actuator motors might do the job. They are
usually worm gear driven with slow output speed and very high torque.

Hey guys,
I'm trying to construct a simple robot that carries around books. It'll
weigh in at about 30-40lbs with batteries, and travel at a walking pace.
Any tips on where I can find a motor of this size? There will be 2 wheels
(one motor each), preferably operating at 12v or 24v, and must already be
geared down.
Thanks a lto
Matt
