We have been playing with an OOPic at the office and you can even implement
PID with one of those. The high-speed counter is very impressive and seems
to keep up with a 10,000 RPM motor with a 60-slot wheel, no problemo.
The sucky part is it only has one high-speed timer / counter input and two
PWM outputs. You would probably need two OOPics if you wanted to run two
motors.
