Well, after lots of reading and trial and error, I finally got EMC up and
running. EMC is the Electronic Machine Controller software from NIST. This
software is for running milling machines, or other real-time hardware. Now
all I need to do is finish up my stepper controllers for my mini scanner
mill! Some basic info on how one person set it up can be found at
http://www.yty.net/cnc/ I loaded it on my laptop and will try to bring it
to RPL this week.
