Hi gang!
As some of you may know, I work in grocery store, and in that store we
have a photo lab. I've made a deal with my managers to acquire the used
One-Time Use Disposable Cameras for a mere 15 cents each! If my
searching on the net is right, these have some good components in them
that might be useful for robotics or general electronics work. Namely,
sligtly used batteries, a flash tube, and charging circuit. If anybody
is interested in these, you can bring a dollar or so to RoboRama, and I
can get you around six of them, and I can bring them in October. Sorry,
but I don't think I'll be offering this to our non-local list members
(the ones who can't make meetings or RPL's or RBNO's) unless they proxy
the buying and can get someone else to ship them out. If someone can't
make the October meeting, I can either hold them til November, or give
them to someone who will be at the RPL or RBNO to give to you, if you
can make those... feel free to get more than $1 worth, I told the photo
lab manager we would/might want plenty of them. We can discuss this more
on-list, off-list, or at RoboRama if you all wish...
