Since I volunteered to be a judge for some the events on Saturday, I thought
it a good idea to read over the rules and came up with a question. In the
rules for can-can it is stated:
Cans that are retrieved are automatically counted as being correctly
located.
Does this mean that "scooper" style bots that simply run in a straight line
and scoop up as many cans as the human lined it up to get are awarded n*15
for collecting the cans as well as n*10 for locating the cans? Doesn't seem
right to me since the robot didn't locate the cans, the human did. Just
thought I would ask what the opinions of the club were.
