Jim,
I was in charge of renting these for a technology convention several
years running and I can tell you that the standard VGA models rent for
$200 dollars a day (they do not rent for partial days) and the Super VGS
rents for $350 per day (Proxima brand).
If you attend some of the computer auctions around here, you can usually
buy one for around $500 - $700.
