Kip,
It happened.
I was at a formal dinner party last Saturday night and
the small talk drifted towards gates and flip-flops.
Well, you could imagine the embarrassment I felt when I couldnÂ’t
chime in with the proper facts.
I couldnÂ’t even fake it with some buzz words, because there was a DEVRY guy
in the corner of the room esedropping in on our conversation.
So, I excused myself, and away I scampered to the little boys room.
I lingered for as long as I thought was acceptable,
then I headed for the verandah.
I pretended to gaze at the stars, till I was sure the small talk group had
disbanded.
So, this degrading scenario does not present itself in the future,
Please post the facts:
HC11 has _____________gates and _______flip-flops.
8051 has _____________ gates and _______flip-flops.
486DX266 has _________gates and _______flip-flops.
Please donÂ’t fudge the numbers just because your a 8051 guy.
It could be humiliating for the both of us.
Because someone is always watching and waiting for us to slip up.
