The video of the walker robot is on steve's computer for the download at:
http://www.dprg.org/pics10.html
I finally got the capture board working. Plus I downloaded the lasted
software from the vendor's web site. It had an updated driver. It was
great. The old driver would loose about half of the frames. The new
driver didn't loose a single frame even when I went to a larger size
window. I kept the window small though for the slow computers. It
looks ok on my computer so I thought it should work on about any computer.
The video is compressed in a "quick time" format. You'll need a QT viewer
to see it. QuickTime seems to be better than MPEG in that you don't need
the decompression hardware and most computers can handle viewing it realtime.
My first version was 20 meg (ugg) and was only 1 min and 40 secs. The
version I uploaded was trimmed significantly to about 1 min and is still
about 10 meg. That means that to download it at 14.4K it will still take
an hour and a half to two hours to download it. (ugg) I added the nice
stuff like a 3d title and swipes between scenes. It looks ok.
You may want to wait until midnight or something to download it to keep
