I talked with Keil tech support today about the compiler problems.
Unfortunately, they weren't familiar with the dongle version of
the software and may have to contact Keil Germany to get
information on it. It's an older version than the US package.
He did have a couple of suggestions to try out in meantime. First,
I'll try installing a 1.13->1.2 upgrade kit from their web site.
This may fix the problems or it may trash the whole thing - he
wasn't sure which... I'm also going to re-install the evaluation
version and then replace the binaries for the compiler and linker
with those from the real package. The evaluation version works
great except for the 2k limit and if that limit is imposed by the
compiler or linker binary, this should remove it. The evaluation
version also installs the source code for the examples correctly,
so it may fix both problems. I'll report on my success (or failure)
at the meeting.
