That's true, I've seen tremendous opposites everywhere: dump college grads,
and _smart_ non-college grads (like me! <grin>). Although that's definately
not always the case (don't start sending me hate mail). I've gotten where
I'm prejudice against grads waving their piece of paper in my face. I may
be as qualified or more for a software job, but they'll always take the
college grad first - even if they're green right out of college. I'm trying
to be more tolerant, but it's hard. Many times they'll consider 2 years
work experience for one year of college. I figure it should be the other
way around: 1 year work experience = 2 years of college. ...But alas, I'm
not the one dishing out jobs am I? ...the world is still safe from the
radical ideas of JB. I figure the only ones who notice this injustice would
be us non-grads. :(
Gloom, Dispare, and agony on me... (oh) Deep dark depression, excessive
misery... (oh) If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all (oh)
Gloom, Dispare, and agony on me... My HR rep asked me if I were a Grad.
I said I was very much a Grad. He ask me what makes me a Grad. I told
him my wife and daughter makes me a very Grad. I didn't get the job.
Since I've been in the US I have become so dis-Oriented.
